Pinecrest is a part of Methodist Retirement Communities in Lufkin, Texas. I (Donna) took supplies and kits to this community on June 8, 2021. Several ladies there sewed dresses from the kits I brought, but the majority of the ladies made kits. We put the dress fabric, pockets and straps fabric, elastic, a label, rick rack, and buttons into a Ziplock bag to create a kit. These ladies made over two hundreds kits that one day. It was a blast!
